Membership in the National Honor Society is one of the highest honors that can be awarded to a high school student. The Titan Chapter of NHS has worked hard to bring the accomplishments of outstanding students to the attention of parents, teachers, peers, and the community. The Chapter, along with the more than 16,000 chapters across the nation, strives to give practical meaning to the Honor Society’s standards of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
The National Honor Society recognizes the total student– one who excels in all areas. No student is inducted simply because of a high academic average.
Members have particularly excelled in performing thousands of hours of service– doing everything from assisting with hospice programs, performing peer tutoring, serving as student ambassadors to working in soup kitchens.
