KA students recently explored the fascinating world of plants and trees, learning how each part, from roots to trunk to branches, plays an important role in helping a tree grow and thrive. The objective of this lesson was for students to identify the basic parts of a tree and understand how each part supports the plant’s life cycle.

To bring their learning to life, students engaged in a hands-on creative activity where they designed and built their own trees using pipe cleaners and a variety of materials such as feathers, stickers, and pom-poms. This fun and imaginative project allowed students to express their creativity while reinforcing their understanding of plant structure in a meaningful and memorable way.
