8B students explored several important art concepts, including:

• Line of Symmetry

• Symmetrical Balance

• Asymmetrical Balance

• Pattern

To help understand these ideas in a hands-on way, we created beautiful Leaf Impressions using washable tempera pain. The leaves were thoughtfully collected by a previous class during a nature walk, and 8B used them to create stunning prints that showed both pattern and balance in creative ways.
