4th Grade Starts Their Own Indoor Farm!

Our 4th grade students recently explored how plants grow and survive in different climates as part of their science studies. The class showed great curiosity and enthusiasm while learning about the conditions plants need to thrive.
To bring their learning to life, students planted jalapeño pepper seeds that are well suited for starting indoors. They carefully learned the process of germinating seeds before planting them in soil. Once the seeds began to sprout, the students transferred them into pots and placed them under bright grow lights inside a small growing tent.
With the help of cactus grow lights and their tent setup, the class proudly created their very own “4A Farm.” The project allowed students to experience the full process of starting plants from seeds and caring for them as they grow.
Take a look at the results. Our young farmers had a blast while learning about plant life and climate!
