Look what our first and second graders learned about Frida Kahlo and surrealism! They explored how Frida expressed her feelings and stories through self-portraits, and how she often painted flowers on her head.

In this activity, the learners cut out and colored in their own Frida head. Afterwards, they glued the faces onto a vibrant background.
