The 7th and 8th grade students competed in the only “takes” and “adds” math challenge today for the 100th day of school. The students were challenged to make as many equations as they could keeping the digits 1–9 in descending order and using only addition and subtraction that total to 100.
Our 8th graders ended in a tie each finding 3 equations, and our 7th grade winner found 3 ways as well!
