The Collabor
atory is outfitted with a Promethean ActivWall, an interactive learning system where teachers and students can collaborate, connect, and share ideas virtually. The room also houses a Polycom Video Conferencing System, which creates “a classroom without walls” and allows the students an opportunity to participate in discussions and connect with people from around the world. Students will also have access to countless books and periodical collections on-line.
This Collaboratory will provide our students with the open space, the digital tools and the means to research and to solve problems. The students and teachers have the world at their fingertips and can become even more actively engaged as learners and members of our global society.
